With Our employees being our main asset and their part in the company being critical to it`s success. It is a matter of prime importance to us that all health and safety matters are conducted in a manner that gives everybody protection in the working environment. We actively try to enhance the level of our employee skill base. This is achieved by employing the right calibre of people in the first instance and ensuring that training and development is continued to maintain the highest standards.

All of our employees who have been with the company longer than 3 months are all CISRS Carded to the relevant Grade and will have successfully Completed the relevant Health & Safety tests.

We then have an internal personal improvement training schedule and employees are actively encouraged to progress within the company through continuous training.

We work closely with WCTS Cardiff with whom we achieve al of our NVQ Qualifications and also train all of our Part 1, Part 2 and Advanced Scaffolders, also we use WCTS for our Basic and Advanced Inspection Qualifications and our 5 day Scaffolding Supervisor Training

Brecon Scaffolding Ltd. are audited and advised by Simian Risk Management to provide the companies Occupational Health & Safety Management. Simian Risk Management are the UK`s leading specialist working at height and scaffolding Risk Management Company and also provide our day to day training needs to ensure that all employees are suitably trained and qualified to carry out their respective roles within the Company

Brecon Scaffolding is Committed to CSCS and will continue to ensure that all staff carry the correct CISRS Card

Robbie John the Company Director is the Chairperson of the Newly appointed Powys Health & Safety Training Group, a newly formed group fully backed by the CITB & Welsh Assembly Government, to Enrol all companies based in Powys working within the Construction Industry and promote easy access to all training needs within our industry, to ensure that Health & Safety standards continue to rise within our industry through on going training, awareness and personal progression.
